Welcome "Naked Lounge" at 1111 H Street (2nd location). Alkali Flats and the surrounding neighborhoods are very excited to have this new Neighborhood Coffee House in the Old Travelodge turned Live/Work spaces, now known as "Retro Lodge". They've done a fab job creating a comfortable space for sipping Excellent coffee or tea while surfing the net (on their free wi-fi)! The decor marries both the 50's Palm Springs and the Space Age Jeston's building themes. You'll enjoy mid-century modern furniture while being surrounded by fifties & sixties funky art, complete with a "Naked Lady" velvet painting adorning one of the walls.
The menu is quite extensive with something for everyone. Get a morning jump start by selfishly hoarding your very own 17oz. pot of fresh grounds "Press Pot", Indulge in an afternoon freshener of Mocha goodness "Naked Mocha", Relax with a good evening read while sipping a "Bowl of Soul" (Chamomile tea infused in vanilla soy milk and honey served in a latte bowl), or just be Zany enough to try the "Keith Richards" (Double espresso floated over an ice-cold Shasta cola). Whatever beverage choice you make, coupled with the attentive and friendly service they're sure to keep you coming back for more! Rumor has it, they might be adding some exciting new things in the near future.
